Magic, spells, potions, dark arts, adventures through clues, theatrical combat all blended in with DIGIVATIONS' NASA award winning STEM+ARTS+MOVEMENT curriculum taught to more than 5,000 students throughout North America. Wizards (ages 9-17) will experience our unique NASA award winning program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building with world renown faculty.

STEM Learning in Innovation Class: DIGIVATIONS Co-Founder Dr. Steve Berman teaches the chemistry behind potions; the physics of quidditch including Newton’s 3 Laws and Einstein’s Theories which will help them prevail; deciphering techniques and learning different languages to read the clues; the quantum theories of superposition and quantum tunneling allowing them to traverse walls at PLATFORM 9 3/4.  Of course, Hogwarts does feature rather unique creatures whose DNA could use a little tweaking requiring a review of genetics and the magical tools of the CRISPR realm. Remember Wizards Chess will be lurking about. Who will be the winner?   Based on the children's creative engagement, Dr. Steve will weave a great story with science, art and physical movements that is sure to keep kids engaged!

International Quests and Monsters:  We will take an international adventure with our wizards and characters who live in Beijing, China; Edinburg, Scotland; Paris, France; Canada and throughout the US. Some may even "Zoom Bomb" during camp, delivering important messages that Demigods may need in order to overcome obstacles and solve the more daunting challenges presented in the daily Innovation Classes.

Hands-on Creative Engagement  After Innovation Class, wizards bring their creativity to art, music (sound design), creative writing, and the magical arts (wands, spells, potions, etc.), character and costume design.  All levels of expertise works.

After Class:  Children who depart after innovation class are expected to do their home/creative work outside of class to share with the community the following day.  This could be one musical phrase or an entire improvised music composition, the beginning sketches of an art work or a finished costume, their completed wand or short storyboard based on their own LEGO build.

Why Combine STEM+ARTS+HUMANITIES+MOVEMENT with Harry Potter:  Reading the World renown Harry Potter series or watching the movies not only “suspends disbelief,” it invigorates a reader’s imagination, and the processes of inquisitiveness, learning, and critical thinking. The series also nurtures the magical constructs of empathy through exploration of nature and in a manner that fosters our abilities to achieve a better understanding and acceptance of humans and natural creatures far different than ourselves and what we/our biases perceive to be less than perfect. Effectively, the series opens the human mind and spirit to a higher level of consciousness and engagement both intellectually and kinesthetically.

Tuition does not include semi-private instruction topics based on your child's interests: Advanced Technologies (Creative Tech), Music Composition, Martial Arts, Fine Art, Film Making, Creative Writing, Group Innovation Seminars and ESL. Parents may also purchase merchandise, such as, additional and delux wands.
