Perinatal services offer no-cost, confidential pregnancy testing for Medi-Cal-eligible women and/or assistance in obtaining Medi-Cal and other pregnancy-related care. The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) provides a variety of services and education to women prior to and up to 60 days after delivery. Goals include decreasing the number of underweight infants, improving the outcome of every pregnancy, giving every baby a healthy start and lowering healthcare costs by preventing catastrophic and chronic illness in infants and children.
