11-Day National Parks Road Trip: Canyons
For girls entering 10th-12th grade. No Girl Scout experience needed! Spend Monday planning your epic road trip to Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Grand Canyon Nation Parks, then hit the road for 8 nights of camping and exploring the unique natural wonders of America’s Southwest. Aside from pre-determined campsites, the schedule is wide-open! Come to camp prepared with ideas for what to see and do to get the most out of your experience.

Located halfway between Banning and Idyllwild in the San Jacinto mountains on Hwy 243 at 5,100’ elevation, Skyland Ranch covers more than 190 acres in the transition from chaparral to pine forest. The history of Skyland Ranch from transitional land for native inhabitants to early private apple ranch through the dedication of the property to use as a Girl Scout camp beginning in 1951 the beauty and diversity of the property continues to be evident. Currently the property can house a little over 100 guests in a variety of rustic cabins. Campers can participate in archery, summer horseback riding, ropes course, fencing and much more.
