Grandeur of the Seas is Back!

It takes a lot to get me to relax. I just might be a bit of a workaholic. My friend and business partner, Deb Ross (you know her, the publisher of KOA, or as I like to call her "the Energizer Bunny on steroids") is not much better. We both work long hours; this website doesn't run itself, you know. So when we got the chance to go on a one-night cruise on the Royal Carribean's Grandeur of the Seas, we rationalized our way to the gangplank.

"Well, we can use it as a work retreat", we told each other. "We'll get so much done," we decided.

Well, we did get a lot done. A lot of relaxing. A lot of fun. And we both can't wait to go back.

Parking was easy! And so was the finding the terminal.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful right from the start; there were lots of staff on hand to direct us and help us crusing newbies.

We loved our balcony!

Our room was thoughtfully designed. There was lots of storage space; we took this photo before we'd put anythign away!

We got right to work, as you can see.

Our room attendant was, well attentive; and fun. And really helpful. He managed to get something pressed for me in less than ten minutes. I was impressed, and not just by the towel monkey.

In all seriousness, this was one of the best vacations I have ever been on. It was relaxing and fun, the food was delicious and we couldn't have been treated better by every single staff member we met, from the pool attendant to the officers. I can't wait to go back.
