Junior Camp Session at Falling Creek Camp

Falling Creek’s Junior Camp session is six days long, offering the perfect introduction to camp for families looking for a shorter “sampler camp” session. Helping boys in 1st-4th grades have fun and build confidence away from home is the central focus. Enrollment is limited to campers in grades 1-4. Boys sample traditional camp activities and stay with their cabin groups during the Junior Camp session. Junior Camp runs differently from our other sessions. More about Falling Creek Camp:
Falling Creek is an overnight summer camp for boys in 1st-12th grades, founded on Christian values. We exist to shepherd the journey of personal growth through love and adventure. We focus on intentional community, fun activities, and a connection with the natural world. Campers and staff can unplug from technology and experience physical, spiritual, and social growth at camp.
Summer Camp Sessions range from 1-week to 4-weeks. We offer Father/Son Weekends for boys in grades K to 10 and their fathers, as well as Family Camp for all ages.
In addition to the classic camp activities, campers can choose to participate daily in a variety of outdoor adventure trips, ranging in skill level from introductory to advanced, and from one-day trips to five-day trips.
Falling Creek Camp is situated on 900+ private mountaintop acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. We are nearby many outdoor recreation destinations, such as DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Green River, Linville Gorge, and more. We're also within an hour of larger cities like Asheville, NC, and Greenville, SC.
Since 1969, Falling Creek families have recognized the value of the camp experience and the critical role it plays in their sons’ development. Boys come to camp for adventure and a chance to play out in the woods. Little do they know that we have invested thousands of hours of preparation, thoughtful planning, and staff training to make sure every moment of the summer builds character, fosters growth, and challenges boys to become the men God intends them to be.
